my grandad Frederick Cox, was born in 1900. he died in 1974. his father was Albert George Cox, my
grandad was in the first world war, in the Black watch, Royal Highlands, he went to india, and Egypt
and many more,
in the 2nd world war he was a Warden, which means he had to go to the houses that was bombed and
help people or remove the dead.. he died in 1974 with heart problems..
8 children, being my aunt Iris aunt Doll, Aunt kath, and my mum Theresa, my uncle Derick,(1925 to
2007) my uncle Terry, uncle Morris and my uncle Dennis, My uncle Dennis died, (1930 to 1964) before
i was born, in 1964 but my mum, give his name to me, in my middle name, he was born in 1930 and died
in 1964. we have just found his 2 children Wendy and Brian, Just days ago. after they moved away in
1963.
My grandad married Ruby dodd my nan. she was born in Clapham, london. in 1899. she died in 1988.

♥ Resting Place ♥
It's a quiet and tranquil place
and this is where you lie.
In the silence I hear your voice,
see your face in the clear blue sky.
It seems so wrong that you are here,
and yet it had to be;
your time on earth was over,
you left this world and me.
I can't help feeling cheated,
you were too young to die,
but one day I'll come to you
and understand the reason why.
Until that time has come,
I'll tend your place with care,
I'll cover it with flowers
and know you'll see them there.
You always said I cared for you
in good times and in bad,
and I'll go on as before
although my heart's so sad.
Yet there is some comfort
from tending to your grave.
I feel your love surround me here,
a strength that keeps me brave.
Although your body's resting,
I know your spirit's free.
I sense you watching from above
and caring still for me.
So when my life is over,
I'll join you where you lie,
and then we'll be as one again,
